Need someone to settle a dispute!!!

For some time now, I have been saying that this a shade of Blue. But, I keep getting told that it is a shade of Green .


Who is correct ? I say I am !!!

Blue and Green are side by side on the spectrum. If it ain't blue and it ain't green, It could be considered a shade of either one. That, at least; if you don't concede cyan it's own spot.

If you ask me, and leave technicalities out, I'd say it's way past green and neigh on to blue.

About 90% blue, there appears to be some green in conjunction with those little squiggly lines though.

Being partial color blind I say it's really dark black and really dark blue that is almost black..but definitely..mostly blue black

It is neither blue, nor green. It simply has characteristics which reflect light waves of different wavelengths which are reflected against the cones and rods in our eyes.
Therefor there is no right or wrong answer to your question.
Watch a paint mixer make up a batch of red paint for a custom car. Most of the components added to the mix are not red. So the end product cannot be considered "red".

I think that one should ask it what color it wants to be considered. It might identify as blue one day, green the next. Why are we stereotyping it as a single color?

In reality, it ain't a shade of nothing. It is BLUE with patches of GREEN or maybe cyan. In other words a mixture, not a blend.

You may have a condition of color blindness like mine. Really dark colors all look the same to me...black. My wife thinks its funny when SHE says I have on 2 different colors of socks. I don't care and I guess she just planned it that way since she buys them.

For me the type or kind of lighting used when viewing colors makes a big diff to me. Example buying a shirt, get it home may not be the color I viewed in the store. Tut
