Lucky week it looks like.

Trapped 1 cat place for years about 50 miles from the house good cat country for the Missouri River area always good for a few cats every year. The other day the owner next to where I trap said I could trap on his place where the main draw runs through cat heaven so I’m stoked.

Then a guy down the road a few miles has 2 farms he owns he wants trapped and they are a few miles apart so it’s like 2 places really. Now my Hoot buddy says he has a place near by that another guy needs trapped mostly Doctors and business owners with nice chunks of land. I told the wife we might be moving “joking”

Now I just need a month of good weather so I can get around just a weird week.

Law dog if we get another month of good weather I’ll give ya $20. Ive still got a few traps in 5 ft drifts. I really need some good weather to melt some snow down here.

Yep still have several under the ice from the storm before last, I pulled pretty quick before the last one looks like we have another one on the way. It’s melting fast here with the sun and temps in the 40s.

Sounds like my luck. Got a place I’m trapping right now (400ac+/-) and the landowner said he’s talked to the surrounding owners and they want me to trap that after deer season...1300ac. Only problem I have is this stupid JOB thing!! Work gets in the way of all my fun.

Sure we coop on a lot of things nothing they can’t make if it’s needed.

Yep, good people. "Hoots" have done me a solid many times over years and really enjoy there friendship. I just found it interesting that others use that same term. I just always thought it was a term my father always used. LOL.
