After all the rain we got last night flooding the low lying areas and creeks, I was on the lookout for Cottonmouths today.

We have been mostly in the fifties and sixties since a few days before Christmas. I am enjoying the warm weather, even though I have been sweating a lot working on my farm. I have got a lot done.

It's single digits here with real feel right around zero. Been a while since I've seen a snake.
High was 56 here today, and it's 35 out there now. And no snow, that's ok with me just wish it was lil' colder.

Always on the lookout !! Had one buzz me in a cat set on January 15th, a few years back. At one of the coldest places in Nevada.

I almost (almost) felt bad about taking him out because he buzzed loud and clear. We've probably missed a dozen on that place that that will strike first and rattle second or worse yet wont rattle at all.
