Outdoor TV host in court - 01/07/20 11:52 PM

Saw on the news this morning that the host of BigBoyz outdoors shows is in trouble with the law over baiting in a no baiting zone and illegal trapping racoons. I wonder if the judge will end sentencing with "Another big boy down". It was in September in Otsego county Michigan. His lawyer says he doesn't see why the state is making a big deal of it, he didn't even kill any deer over the bait. Might have something to do with being a roll model? Not sure. I guess some guys will bend a few rules to get the shot.

Tv star hunters and their shows are not good for hunters or hunting.

I don't know that I have.
I have seen most of the shows on pursuit and outdoor network.most of the hunting shows feed the antler craze that they have made hunting out to be. I do like trapping show and Eastman hunting.

there's a big hot shot hunting and fishing guide up my way:

Capt. Bill Saiff who was just indicted on State & Federal charges

for the 2nd time for baiting waterfowl and Guiding hunting clients

over a baited area.

He got charged, tried, convicted, and sentenced three years ago.

He went out again and did the same thing last year and got nailed again.

They are going to throw the book at him this time.

He had a couple of T.V. hunting and fishing shows.

I dont watch tv other than football so you may be right about the TV star hunters but I fail to see how most of the youtube hunters who film are hurting hunting. Solo Hunter, Seek one, Randy Newberg, all good channels on youtube and I dont see how it hurts hunting beside inspire more people to hunt out west so more competition for tags.

I have to agree some of the out door shows rank right up there with football in my book. There are few good out door shows. I stopped watch foot ball when they stopped standing for the National Anthem.
