February 8, 2020 Johnny will celebrate his 85th birthday with two performances at the Lantex Theater in Llano, Texas. He played at a New Year dance in Brady for 2 1/2 hrs and then signed autographs for an hour afterward. It was his first performance in two months after a bout with double pneumonia

Oh my. Country music was always flowing when I was a kid at home. I broke green beans with Mama while we listened to what is now classified as the "classics".
