Loading spruce pulpwood 1950’s Adirondack Mtns.. The kid sitting on the pulpwood pile is my older brother, today Dad would probably be arrested for child endangerment.

The picture is misleading, actually they are farther away than it looks.

That looks like a great time and getting to help dad at work always was a fun time in my way of thinking.

Those logs were to let loose they would be going in all directions..Nice picture.

The stuff we did that could have killed us would get you thrown in jail today. Great picture and reality of the times.

I agree, we were not coddled like kids today. My Dad taught us a work ethic at an early age.
