Virginia State of Emergency Declared?

Virginia State of Emergency Declared? - 01/16/20 12:55 PM

I guess there's a pro 2A rally planned for Richmond. The governor has declared a state of emergency and has banned firearms near the capitol in response.

Northams's greatest fear is that there won't be any violence at the rally.

You have Northam on the run, but remember when in Richmond keep cool. Keep focused on why you are there.

On NPR this morning they said that Northam said it'll be a bunch of "militias and hate groups" that show up. What a dork laugh

Ironically... we are all militia, but from different states and area... It is Northam and his bunch that are the HATE GROUP! It is the Socialist Democrat Liberal Party that are the Haters. Leave your weapons at home and take Tar, feathers and a rail. God go with Brothers and sisters.

exactly, it needs to be a peaceful protest/rally

my fear is that there will be non-2A supporters there who will either goad the protesters into doing something out of line - or get out of line themselves and claim to be 2A supporters.

i pray there is enough common sense in Richmond to stop this nonsense in the General Assembly

Re: Virginia State of Emergency Declared? - 01/16/20 02:41 PM

I find it funny Northam is scared. All talk chump. I wonder how times he's changed he's underwear with the idea of the rally?

What's not funny is he's declaring SOE for a rally, if that's how's he going to play, he'll probably be quick to declare martial law to enforce the laws.

Re: Virginia State of Emergency Declared? - 01/16/20 03:06 PM

They are using PC and propaganda to control the narrative if we don’t show up we don’t care then if we do show up we are a unruly mob a fine line needs to be walked. The bad thing is he’s a liar so he will spin all he can into what it is not to make his points. A lot will be the interaction and what pace is set by law enforcement and the roll they play.

He’s scared and maybe he should be because at some point the dam will break if he keeps it up and that is the way the Constitution is set up when politicians refuse to follow it they need to go.

Re: Virginia State of Emergency Declared? - 01/16/20 03:14 PM

I think everyone should show up armed anyway. what are they going to do arrest 100,000 people? Half (if not more) of the police are on the 2nd side. ANTIFA can run through the streets beating people, damaging property and denying people their rights but 2nd supporters can't have a peaceful protest without some dictators rules? I call BS!

Agree with l1ranger, people paid to play as 2A supporters who are truly there to cause disruption will be the problem.

I would be more afraid of the paid infiltrators causing problems posing as 2A supporters, not starting problems with 2A supporters. One antifa whacko, posing as a 2A supporter, starts shooting, then it all breaks loose.

Re: Virginia State of Emergency Declared? - 01/16/20 07:12 PM

There needs to be extremely severe consequences for anyone who seeks to take the God given rights of Americans enumerated in the US Constitution. Their severe punishment needs to me meted out in a legal manner by the people. I think the best outcome in this situation would be if the militia legally captures, tries, convicts and then summarily executes the governor of Virginia and other officials involved.

Whatever is done needs to be done in a united, legal, public manner.

The militia legally capturing, trying, convicting and then summarily hanging the governor of Virginia and other officials involved would be a good outcome, but death by a massive firing squad, armed with the weapons they sought to ban, seems more appropriate.

As Virginia's state motto goes, "Sic semper tyrannis".

they'll be folks of all walks of life in richmond. yes, charlottesville comes to mind. just read someone has filed a law suit against the band of guns on the capital grounds. i was hesitant of going with everyone being corraled into a fenced in area. still, I'm sure i wouldn't be alone hanging back to support those on the front lines.... we are not an enemy of the state, just law abiding citizens that believe in standing up for our freedoms. again its just ashame that we are being forced into this debate over our constitutional rights.

It is easy for me to set here in Michigan and say that you should go. It is great that your support the rally, but it is like people that don't vote thinking they don't need my vote. But is like I said, it is easy for me to say. Like you said this is sad that the people in VA have to do this. There are a lot of other State watching VA.

Re: Virginia State of Emergency Declared? - 01/16/20 11:51 PM

The liberal media and liberal polluted FBI are already trying to spin legitimate protesters into domestic terrorists. NBC Nightly News and the PBS News Hour are both comparing the protest, which has not started, to the Charlottesville riots and vehicle assault and interviewing emotional, scared liberals, who cry on cue.

The FBI arrested 3 men they have been investigating, for a long period of time, that they could of arrested a while ago, to tie this Second Amendment protest to criminals.

Gun grabber bloomberg just ran his 4th commercial on the NBC Nightly News of the night.

Don't be surprised if the govenor tries to throw a monkey wrench in that. One of our past governors had implemented a state income tax. He had campaigned against it to get elected. He lied. They had a protest of over 500,000 against it. They chartered buses to get there. He tried to stop that. He made it very difficult to park anywhere or other things too. It was supposed to be temporary , we still have the tax 20 years later.

Plan accordingly , have a backup plan , be prepared to walk a distance after leaving transportation.

As for the media spin concern KeithC mentioned, we're beyond that. Trying to manipulate the story is only going to inflame people. Half of America knows the media can't be trusted. The lines are drawn.

The left know they cant let this rally look like a success or people across the country will b doing it. It will be interesting to see what they do to make it fail. They dont care about the people or this country. Wish I was closer, I'd like to be there when it goes down. Think I'll donate some bus seats.

There certainly are plenty of idiots, but I wouldn't say that Virginia is full of them, as Governor 'Coonman' will soon learn.
The Democrats only have a 2 seat majority in the State Senate. I am sure that more than two of them are worried about re-election in 2021 and will think twice before voting to pass a Bill which guarantees their ouster.
