What's this on this coyotes belly?? - 01/16/20 01:03 PM

Caught a female yesterday and noticed a wart looking spot about quarter sized on her belly, when I skint her it was kind of a fatty looking tissue. Is this common? It's the first I've saw with it [Linked Image]

The good news is that if it's ring worm and not an ulcerated lipoma- you'll know by looking at your forearm in 7-14 days.

I'm very certain it's a lipoma- I'm current on all the "Doctor Pimple Popper" episodes.

It looks like it's right where the umbilical cord would have been. She's just had a big belly button. Definitely an "outy". Lol

That's my vote too. Lipomas, or fatty tumors of the skin, are extremely common in domestic dogs. Unless they ulcerate or are in a bad area, where they effect motion, they are typically left untreated as they are fairly benign.

Cooties. Definitely cooties. I once caught it from a 4th grade girl WHEN I WAS ALSO IN THE FOURTH GRADE, AS A FOURTH GRADER, AT AGE 9 IN HUMAN YEARS.
