Any geothermal experts on here...? - 01/17/20 12:55 AM

Relatively new to geo with what i think should be an easy question for somebody out there. It seems like the discharge pipe should be warm, or at least warmer than the intake pipe. Both pipes seem extremely cold to the touch, starting to wonder if something is not working properly. I have heat, but it may be possible that is from the electric backup kicking in..? Am I correct in thinking there should be a temperature difference when grabbing those pipes..? Thanks for any advice...

Are talking about the water lines? If should have about 6-7 degrees difference.

Yes, talkinv water lines immediately entering and exiting the furnace. Guessing I miht not be able to feel the difference if it only 6 or 7 degrees. Imread somewhere that the water entering is normally 50-55 degrees and is heated to 110-120 degrees. Maybe I misunderstood.
