crazy winds are here now but wouldn't be bad if not for it.6 in ish outta the storm,now we play russian roullette with the snow bands today off lake Erie.

Yeah we have the perfect wind direction for lake effect bands coming off Erie for sure.
The BIG storm did very little here in Mercer County as far as snow accumulation.
The wind was much more of a concern to me but I have a nice pile of blow down branches to pick up and burn now. (beer run first)
Winds are way calmer this morning and now it's getting colder, 20F, but not really for mid Jan. Still it's not been much of a winter here yet.

i still have snow devils goin across the back field still.i've always expected to find on of them big perch in my backyard some day.

I'm snowed in here, got a 1/2" on the ground but it's kinda snowing more. I got milk so don't worry about me, I will get through it.

Took me 8.5 hours to drive from Salamanca to Albany NY yesterday. The road on Rt 88 did not see a plow. The gov must be using the $$ for his Porto Rico trip!

Living in the snowbelt of Western NY sure adds an element of challenge to trapping.
