Which cat is better and why?

Just looking for a little cat grading lesson. I know they probably aren’t worth much hearing that the cat market has slowed a lot but I’m still curious. Wondering which is the better cat out of the two and why? What are the buyers looking for? What are they worth in this market? I think my best cat is still in the freezer but will get at that later this week.

Interested in what everyone has to say. I know what my opinion is.

The one on the left has a poorer fur coverage,it looks a bit loose and open in the flank.It has a slightly clearer belly,but both are narrow and neither has well defined spots.
Overall the cat on the right has better fur.

I could see the one on left looked whiter, didn't know how the dollars go in the market for thicker fur or how they look. neck fur looked about the same to me.

try a borax bath on them.you wont believe the difference

Will definitely give that a try. Just rub dry borax into fur and brush out?

I believe this is the best one I have this year. Nice silver back as well. Not much compared to those western cats but very nice for eastern Canada.

The one on the left side has slightly better clarity. Unless its got nipples I can see Id pick it.

Id say they are B or C grade. Not much of a market for those even with western cats. But you never know. Everyone can say what they want, the only opinion that matters is the one whos buying the fur.

That is what I did. I then brush it out or blow it out with air compressor.

After sprinkling on the Borax, rub around well, let it sit for 15-30 minutes. Shake out. I even use compressed air to remove all of it when done.

Well that is impressive. This is same cat as last picture after the borax...
