Re: Biopsey Monday morning. - 02/15/20 11:13 PM

Good luck chas.

I had one done in 2013.. Uncomfortable but not really painful. Up here they do 12 samples.....feels like a pinprick. And start out circumnavigating your prostate to determine volume of the prostate. Don't remember exactly but I think it only took about 10 minutes. I never did see the Dr. The nurse saw him coming down the hallway and told me to roll over....he was good, told me what to expect. When he was done, he was going down the hallway before I could even roll back over.

Chas,

May our Father, who first knew you, and created you for a purpose, cloak you and your medical team with comfort - wisdom - and merciful outcomes so that all would be well for you brother. Very well.

To the Father we pray, in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Re: Biopsey Monday morning. - 02/16/20 01:34 PM

Charlie -

I pray that God guides you and His peace that surpasses all understanding flows completely over you and the doctors and nurses. I pray that God be glorified in these times that try our simple nature and earthly frame. May you know, our Creator knew us before we were ever formed in our mother's womb. And, by His stripes we are healed in Jesus name. May God use this experience so you comfort others knowing full well, He holds us when we are too weak to stand. I pray that you are overcome by Gods true love for you and know without a doubt, He has glorious plans for you and your family. Charlie, I stand in agreement with you, and pray in the spirit, that God be given all glory tomorrow.

Best of luck Chas !! This doesn't mean we're gonna be swapping spit in a warm shower but my hopes are with you.

FWIW.... I've had a PSA over 12 and never worried about it !!

It's multiple choice ! You'll do fine !!

Re: Biopsey Monday morning. - 02/17/20 05:34 PM

THANK YOU for all the prayers and well wishes.

The procedure was 'interesting' to say the least. It has been described as feeling like a rubber band snap.

I would say it felt more like a 'CAP PISTOL' going off in there, ALL SIX SHOTS. eek Good thing I'm a tough ol' fart. wink

Figured I could handle it alright, it just the concern about what the results may be, frown

GOD BLESS,

Charlie

Re: Biopsey Monday morning. - 02/17/20 05:43 PM

Don't waste energy worrying about what the results MIGHT be. They will be what they are.

Then you may need to make an informed decision about what, if anything, to do. Just have to face these things head on. I'm sure you will do exactly that !!

Re: Biopsey Monday morning. - 02/17/20 05:43 PM

At least it wasn't a shot gun. I need one but want a female doctor. It was bad enough getting shaved by a dude when getting prepped for a hernia operation

Think positive on the results.

Re: Biopsey Monday morning. - 02/17/20 06:52 PM

On the positive side, if the results are positive, there are several successful methods of treatments available. Best wishes!
