M2A1 Ammo Can . How many rounds do they hold

How many rounds of ammunition will those steel ammo cans hold in either 22 LR , 30-30 or 308 ?

a lot

about 400 rounds of 30-06 probably 440 of 308 and close to that of 30-30 this is of course not in factory boxes

352 if the 30-06 is in enblock clips

22lr 7x500 round bricks 6 in their package and then one more at the end but you have to take the 50 round boxes out and stack them in the space left 3500 rounds

at some point they just get stupid heavy
