Futures are up. Asia is up.
But nothing for certain at this point

I agree, Tue. or Wed. good buys for items I plan to hold 5+ years. Have 12 years to go to retire. But only use free money for these buys. I use no funds I plan to live on, I am too old.

Implied open was up over 200 when I first checked today. Only about 60 right now.
I have bids in on some companies now. If things are up I may not get them, but I won't chase anything right now.

DOW up 603 now.

as luck would have it, I have a meeting with my advisor to contribute into my roth and my daughters 529 plan this afternoon. Looks like a good time to buy

Classic picking of the pockets of the small investor. Let panic ensue, encourage it until enough small investors have bailed so the big guys can make a killing by buying low. They talk about wealth being created or destroyed with the big market swings but in reality true wealth just changes hands.
