Brady is Leaving Kraft Family - 03/17/20 12:48 PM

Never thought it would happen.

Brady is not returning to the Pats.

Re: Brady is Leaving Kraft Family - 03/17/20 12:53 PM

I see he just tweeted, "LOVE YOU PATS NATION"

But I didn't see anything about him signing with the Bucs, which seemed the only landing spot for him besides staying in New England.

End up in Pittsburgh, just to make the pats mad,. If he does you know there were bad feelings between the two.

Re: Brady is Leaving Kraft Family - 03/17/20 02:35 PM

He's made a couple demands, sounds like he wants to be more than QB, he also wants control over roster moves and play calling. A little too big for his britches, even with 6 rings.

Re: Brady is Leaving Kraft Family - 03/17/20 03:38 PM

Big mistake by NE imo.
And hard to believe.

If he free lance coaches every team that plays the Pats, Would that be cheating?

Good one Art.

Hope he doesn't get injured, he's no spring turkey.

I feel there will be a significant impact for both teams involved. The interesting thing from my prospective will be to watch New England put together playoff caliber team and keep their tradition of being very, very competative.

Re: Brady is Leaving Kraft Family - 03/18/20 01:23 AM

A very sad day.....I hope the curse of Tom Brady haunts Gillette Stadium for 86 years....Just like when the RedSox Traded Babe Ruth. Brady is not Broken and damaged parts like Montana and Peyton were, when they got traded or left their team. Aftah 20 years and all the winning....this is how you get treated. Looks like I have a new team to root for. Rex Ryan said it best about Belechic...” now he’s just going to be like the rest of us “.

Re: Brady is Leaving Kraft Family - 03/18/20 02:27 AM

Tampa Bay now has a 22-1 chance to win the Super Bowl vs. 40-1 before the announcement. I am surprised though what I heard on ESPN that Tom wanted a little more power in decision making but the Patriots would not budge. You would think for all he has done for the franchise, they would have gave him the power and the chance to retire a Patriot.

Go Broncos!!!

Just think...... If Bledsoe hadn't got injured we probably wouldn't even know who Brady was.

Re: Brady is Leaving Kraft Family - 03/18/20 02:52 AM

Im just saying there is more into the talent of one man. Yes he is talented, but there is a reason they wont let him have more power if thats the case call the plays.... Coach did that, the team built quality players around brady, and he made them look good they helped him look good, management of money by the team to get quality players that fit with brady... Yes brady is talented, but send him to a less qualified team in coaching and management do you think he would be as good as he is??

Re: Brady is Leaving Kraft Family - 03/21/20 08:35 PM

They were talking about him leaving on a lot of sports talk shows. They all said the same thing, that Brady and Bill have had a troubled relationship for a few years now.

I guess it all started when Bill discussed trading Brady to San Fran instead of Jimmy G. Kraft stepped in to stop it. Then a couple other things that Brady said in interviews. There was one about a contract extension, and Brady saying something along the lines of; "Don't you think I deserve one?" There was another remark he made that for the life of me I can't remember what it was.

Brady's washed up. Always was scared of a rush, but a lot worse the last couple years.

TB better have a good line.

Exactly. The O-Line protected him very well in New England. Though his arm is spot on-his getty-up is slow and this could be an issue with a new O-Line.

I also seen that a Tampa Bay player is giving up his #12 with all do respect to Tom so he can wear it

Tampa Bay is already getting better offensive lineman since signing Brady.
