What is going on now

I just talked to a friend in San Diego, his brother in law who is in the Army Reserves just got a notice this evening to inform his employers, etc, and to be ready to be called up in a moments notice. U.S. Army? really? I thought only the National Guard is responsible for domestic emergencies. Or maybe it's not domestic??

Could be sending them to the Mexico US border

I see martial law coming.

The governor of NY wants the Corp of Engineers to erect mobile hospital tents to help assist the local hospitals with the high number of predicted patients.

To many people ignoring the "stay at home" plan. I expect it to be the military telling you to go home at gun point soon. There are way to many people who are just selfish and going everywhere all day long. One local bar ignored the 5pm cut off today for two week shut down. These are the people who will wreck it for the masses.

I do see some level of martial law taking place. Most likely it’ll be implemented because, there will be those who won’t stay at home, that will at least be one reason behind it. IF we assume for one minute that our officials are actually being honest, then we have to believe the virus is worse than the flu and will overwhelm the nation’s emergency health services if not slowed down and contained. If we believe it’s just a flu-like virus, then we must believe that several governments (including the communist/socialist/dictatorships) have all decided to do what? Take freedom from them? Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of people, including US politicians, who wanna take guns from Americans. They wanna take a lot of other stuff too. Could they use the virus and a lock-down to accomplish that goal. Absolutely. I choose to be aware, and to respond to situations that arise. I tend to believe that most men and women who put on the uniform of the US Armed Forces are the good guys. One way or another we’re coming face-to-face with the effects of the virus. It’s my hope that Americans will rise to the occasion, relying on the core values that made America great to begin with. I really hope it’s just the virus. If that’s real, things could get messy enough in and around cities, and fairly dangerous elsewhere. If you ain’t been exercising your second, you might wanna warm-up a little. I’d treat it like MC.

Makes more sense to use actual Army or Military people. Call out the guard or reserves your just taking local doctors etc out of places they work and are already needed..
At least that make sense to me if your not trying to over whelm local systems.

Not everything is about taking peoples personal rights or martial law...
