It's an interesting shadow of a butterfly picture. Was it a hackberry butterfly?

I think it was a question mark, or one of the other similar ones. I discovered we have a hackberry tree just down the hill. So it may have been. It was very flighty.

With the shadow and wing pattern; you can narrow it down which of the 3 bush foots butterflies types and it's size rules out Morning Cloaks.

I dont think that's a bad picture at all. Not a "normal" picture but what an interesting view on your subject!

Yes, I thought it was a good pic. But only by accident. I thought was pretty neat that I even got the shadow of it's tongue and antennae. Glad you all liked it.
