What's for Supper? Ribeyes and Scallops!

You guys made me really hungry for ribeye steaks the other night, so Zim brought some home today. I seared ribeye steak and sea scallops, and made some broiled tomatoes with Parmesan, basil and olive oil and a little side salad with some avocado to go with that. Yum!

Nothing near as special just hotdogs filled with cheese and wrapped with crescent roll dough with a side of ketchup.

With gas 1.84 and 12.5 miles per gal......I think It will be worth the trip....with these cheap gas prices ...Whats for dessert ?

Thank you, Leftlane! Sounds like you've got yourself some nice friends there. There is no bad time for some chicken noodle soup, is there? That's nice. We clipped off a few new chives the other day (brand new right now for Wisconsin spring) and sprinkled them all over the sour cream that was on top of our tacos. That was so good! It's a big deal right now to get the tiniest thing that reminds us of the great garden stuff that's coming. We raked the mulch off of Zim's garlic to expose two rows of plants popping up beautifully. That's going to be a harvest to look forward to.

I made a pan of enchiladas. I cheated a bit though and bought tortillas. Working that dough till its not sticky is a real pain. I think store bought tortillas are fine. I did make the ground sausage base though.

I checked my freezer tonight and all I have is toothpicks and old beaver castor.

Pinwheel steak done on the grill and a large green salad on the side tonight.

A salad with my anti pathogen herb dressing ...steak and grilled sweet onions , with seasonings.... looking ahead in positive action

Goatman! CRAPPIES! There can never be enough crappies!!! Thanks for the photo!

They are a case item at one of our supermarkets. They have spinach and shredded parmesan cheese in them. We soaked those little beauties in Huli Huli sauce for a couple hours before grilling.

That bread looks like the loaves in the old Hercules movies i watched as a kid. Biblical times tv shows I remember the bread as a kid. Some were round some long and tapered with slices on top. They all had lots of flour sprinkled on them.
