Well since alot of us are going to be quarantined at the house for a while figured it would be cool to make up a thread where everyone could recommend movies ,shows books and so on to watch or read.

Better take your rubber gloves, face mask, and handy wipes. Wife and I traveled into the city yesterday and it was crazy to see what them folks was doing. I guess it is probably called for, no telling how many infected people have touched the merchandise on shelves, let alone the door handles and railings.
I got a set of aluminum oars a few years back. It takes some getting used to the odd weight and different noise on the boat sides, but they don't dry rot like wood.

We have ordered the PBS series " A Place to Call Home" A post WW11 war series about families in Australia. There are 63 hour episodes. We also have The Vietnam War, Band of Brothers, and many others. We have not signed up for NetFlix but may do that if this gets into months. I am putting together a list of home, farm and garden projects and it will be long. Our Stimulus monies will cover any of the materials I will need. Also a good time to drive up and go to the north house and fish. With $1.40 gas that round trip with 5 fishing excursions is about $40.

That is a great book. It was one of the first EMP novels, before the onslaught of followers.
His sequel is good but not as good as the first.

If you don't mind a Christian themed movie, Greater is a pretty good one. True story of a walk-on football player who became an All American and a Colts draftee.

Andy I bought a pair of aluminum oars. They were 2 dollars cheaper than wood and the blade is a little bigger. Maybe I can get more than 7-8 years out of them.

The Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Published in 1932. Really predicted a lot of what’s happening now: controlled environment farming, genetic engineering, drug use/abuse. It’s almost 100 years old but a very good read.
