There are very few gurantees in this world but one of them
Being no matter how obliterated a coyote is on the highway. Blood splatter 30 ft long run over by every wheel of a 18 wheeler and you traveling 75 miles an hour it takes just a glance but if it was a coyote you always see at least one of those ears erect protruding from the slurry.

Whoever did the roadrunner and wiley coyote cartoon must have seen a few of those greased yotes out there!! Do the Cali commies still allow a guy to shoot yotes out on public land in the Mojave but I suppose you can't sell them for fur..?.

And why do badgers always end up with their feet in the air?

It's the raccoons that take a beating here. Poor things come out of their winter dormancy and get ironed out on the roads their first night out. I saw three dead ones last night several miles removed from one another. Saw two or three lives ones taking their chances on my way home this morning.

It doesn't help that they like to eat worms, after a rain they are on the road just slurpin up the crawlers.
