OT: Evaporated VS Sweetened Condensed Milk

Making a Pumpkin Pie.

Recipe calls for sweetened condensed milk. I only have Evaporated Milk.

Questions:

1. Can I substitute Evaporated Milk ?

2. If yes, how much sugar should I add to the can of evaporated Milk, to make it equal to the sweetened condensed milk ?

just mix up your pie filling like you had sweetened milk. stick your finger in and taste it. adjust till you like it

Go to the store.

You could add sugar, but it's not the same.
