Hey Beav,
Just got an email from Arnie Groehler, our WTA president, to the board of directors and a few others with some updates about current WTA issues. He said congratuations go out to you as the 2020 WTA Hall of Fame inductee. I read that outloud to Zim, who posted it here.
I just checked with Arnie to confirm because it sure didn't sound like a secret, and the upcoming inductee is usually notified in March (at the banquet, which was cancelled/postponed). He said no problem with congratulating you now.
So no, we're not kidding. CONGRATULATIONS, BEAV!
And since we're not at the banquet to hear the announcement ...
