Angela had a car wreck a few days back. She is in for surgery now to remove gangrene in her thigh. She had about a 10 inch gash they sewed up in 3 layers and it has turned gangrene.

The nurse just called me. She made it through ok. They cleaned out and removed a lot of already damaged tissue and the gangerine from "inside" the wound
The surgeon left the wound open, has it packed with anti-biotic soaked dressing. They're going to leave the wound open for 2 days, and re-check it. She said she wasnt sure if he was going to let it heal from the inside out or sew it back up. She said she should have NO deformities on her thigh once it's healed! So, thank God!!
