Tax refunds expedited also?

I filed my returns on 4/10. My refund was deposited in my bank today, 7 days later. That is by far the quickest turnaround I have experienced in 50+ years of doing this.

Did you do it on line or mail it in?

Lucky u. Mailed mine in Jan 25th. Still waiting.

Filed electronically by my accountant.

I wasn’t paying $350 for the e-file. Mailed mine in also about the second week of February. Don’t mind waiting, as long as it comes this year, lol.

Filed mine in beginning of February. I have direct deposit. Still waiting for mine also. Called the IRS 4 weeks ago and they told me to send in another form. It is a short form with just me filing. Can’t figure it out. According to “where is my refund” status on their website, they didn’t get the second form yet.

Cool. Maybe you can talk to my accountant and tell them it doesn’t cost that much, because that’s what they charge.
Doesn’t seem to matter anyways, my buddy e-filed in January and still hasn’t received his either.

What type of return are you doing? Just a basic wife/husband? Kids? Business?

My wife and I have ours filed electronically by an accountant. This is our personal, plus business, plus we paid for our child's taxes to be filed and it cost us around $250 for everything. We filed ours mid February and got it back about 8 days later.

Filing online doesn’t cost a penny extra.

Did you check on the IRS “where’s my refund” page if they received it and are processing it?

Anybody that sent their refund in early not get it yet? Still waiting for mine since early February. I called the IRS today and a recording said they are no longer taking any calls. Th recording also said they have a shortage of employees.

We waited until April 15th as we owed a considerable amount of federal taxes and a small bit of state. We did some money management changes this year and our quarterly payments along with some other changes created a big increase but at least the rates are lower. It did not take more than a couple days for the IRS to take the needed payment from our designated account.
