My cousin is in critical condition

Was shooting a small brass canon with his grandson
Something went way wrong
He’s had 2 blood transfusions, lost most of pancreas, stomach and intestine are torn up bad, lungs damaged in induced comma, many more surgeries needed. Lots of brass still in him.

His name is Don

He made it through the night, he’s had his blood completely replaced twice from blood loss. More surgery today

UPDATE: Good news!!
The surgeon was able to repair everything that was needed. His stomach was repaired and a feeding tube put in. He has a couple chest tubes for extra fluid drainage. Intestines were reconnected. He'll be in ICU through the weekend and most likely be in the hospital for 7-10 days after that.

Wednesday night update: Donny had surgery this evening. They suctioned out the old blood and shrapnel and the big bullet. He will be having another surgery tomorrow to flush out the infection he has in his abdomen. He's stable but still very serious. Thank you all for praying!



Could use some myself too, found out I have a blood clot in my leg.
