Just thinking about trying to start growing wax worms. Did some research on it but curious to see if anyone has any history of doing it? Worth it or not? Amount of time it takes? Etc...

mealworms are easy-tote,chick starter,slice a bread,mealworms.i feed the beetles and mealworms to the chickens and use the larva for fishing.

Three years ago I started meal worms and wax worms. Got up to probably 50,000 meal worms in a few months. Wax worms? Nothing but a PITA. With what you have to buy, mix, and feed I might as well just thrown money out the window. And they won't stay put worth a hoot either.
I would like to try it again, but I highly doubt I will.
