Old Bottle Question - 05/09/20 11:20 PM
I went out with my metal detector today, just out on the farm to see what I could turn up. While going along an old foundation I came across an old dump pile that was full of broken glass. In that pile was a nice little blue bottle that was intact. Bottom of the bottle has BOURJOIS 16 on it. Best I can find it is from a line of perfume and toiletries called An Evening In Paris that was popular between 1920 and 1950 or so. Anyone know anything about these bottles. I only have the one pic but the bottle is around 4" tall and has a wider mouth than a bottle that size would normally have. Makes me think it was a talcum powder bottle from that line of toiletries.
