Little Guy (pic.) - 05/15/20 02:17 AM

Ran into this future Boone & Crockett whitetail while at work yesterday. He must only be a day or two old.

Leaned over and patted one on his head and he exploded full speed, right between my legs. Never saw him again.

I have a Samsung S7 too and have always been amazed at how great the quality of pics it takes.

Great photo Zim. Thanks for sharing.

Not seen any of our does looking like they have dropped yet. Some I have noticed aren't coming out in the open this last week or so. That is common when they drop.

Our one doe had triplets last spring and they are all doing well. 2 young buck with 3 inch horns growing and one young doe yearling. That old doe will have her own little herd going if she drops triplets this year.

It's amazing how they tuck.
We had a small reunion at my nephews home in Grand Isle, Mi.
The family was in and out of the house all day and visiting on his back deck.
In the evening, a doe came walking into his backyard that slopes to an inland waterway.
She stood and observed us for a bit, and proceeded to move up towards us.
At about a 50 foot distance, she let out a little bleat kind of like a sheep.
Little squirt like your picture, jumped out of David's evergreens; right beside the deck and ran to her.
He'd been at the party all afternoon and never moved!
