For the ones running coated no bs traps, how are you doing your trap prep on these, I understand it's better not to boil these traps,

I just put a little wax on where the pan and jaw then put them in the dirt.

If they are already coated why do anything to them. Maybe just take them to the car wash and wash them down to get any factory oil off of them.
You might just be better off asking the No BS people.

I first adjust the pans so they lay flat then put a little bow string wax on the shelf.

They said to air them out, and then wax if I wanted, I didn't ask about cleaning after a season's use, all I know is boil, dye, and wax,

That’s about it. The pans on mine didn't need adjusted and the bow wax brought the pan tension down to where I wanted it.

I ran them last season and they look like the day they came with multiple catches. I just set them the first round. Sprayed them off at the car wash when I was done with them and will run them again. Don't over complicate it.

Yep, just dunk them in wax and set 'em… several have produced first-night catches for me -- as in first night I'd ever used them PERIOD.
