Tractor implements - 06/08/20 04:40 PM
Is there a online auction site or something like that where one can pick up implements to hang on the back of a tractor cheaply. I am looking for a disk harrow for now and don't mind fixing the thing up but here on the usual suspects, they seem to be pretty thin on the ground.

You can look in your local shopper or on Craig's list.

Used to be some on ebay. Not so much anymore.
I'm sure Tenn is different than Ia but there are a couple of salvage places near that I would check out if I were looking. You might try asking at auction houses. Lots of farmers retiring .

Scuba1, there should be local sales papers at the convenience stores that advertise that kind of thing. If you don't find what you are looking for and don't mind a bit of a drive, let me know. I have one for sale and I am located about 25 miles north of Bristol. I will make you a good deal.

Go on Craigslist for your state and search the farm & garden listings for the items you're looking for.

Ritchie brothers is all over the usa. I watch the East Coast auctions mostly.
Have you considered the tool bar approach? Works for some implements.

Wenger's of Myerstown, PA has a decent selection of tillage implements. I know that they are a long ways away for you. They have a lot of used stuff.

Scuba, go on your local CL and search Chuck's Farm Equipment. Most people around WNC drive over to east Tn. for equipment.

Back to my explanation.
A local auctioneer should be able to tell you who buys farm equipment for salvage.
The guys around here keep the usable stuff separate.

I think I found one ..... Thanks for the help folks. I shall save this thread for future implement purchases. There is bound to be other stuff that I will need to strap to the back or front of the tractor that will lighten my wallet.
