Stepping out of the truck and into the woods after being away too long.
A snowmobile floating over bottomless powder.
A good ATV crawling through a bog without losing traction.
The evening woods from a stand.
A well-deserved beer or whiskey after a hard but productive day's work. Same with a shower.
Satisfaction in a job well-done.
Watching my kids and thinking that everything I've done or gone through in this life is worth it just for them.

Having a Saviour in Jesus Christ.
The Love of a great woman.
Trapping, and all it entails.
Helping someone.
An elders stories of a better time.
A hug from a child.
Experiencing nature, a true gift from God.
Forgiving, and receiving forgiveness.

dog fur when your pup just treed its first all on its own

a nice bobcat popping loose from its stretcher as your taking it off

hugs from your grandkids

hugs from your wife

the sense of satisfaction from a job well done

Somewhere I read that you lose weight by taking a warm shower like the same amount of weight as you would by exercising for 30 minutes.

Watching the sun rise of set.

Sharing a good cup of coffee or a cold beer with good friends.

A kid's laughter.

Watching your dog work a trail.

Opening up a box of new traps.

After a long-hard day of work, looking back and seeing a good days worth of accomplishment.

same for the string trimmer hadn't run since fall 3-4 slow pulls to turn it over and draw some fuel in and a quick one.

I am giving some of the credit on both to the star-tron in the fuel.

The smell of skunk on a cool fall morning.
A gobbler hammering at sunup.
The sight of a missing cat drag.
A pale yote waiting for me.
The look on a happy dogs face for no reason.
Being in the mountains without another soul around.
A holster that fits me perfect.
Friends that have my back.
