China has started killing Indian soldiers along their shared border. At least 20 Indian soldiers have been killed so far.

They are both nuclear powers it could get ugly quick. Not to mention the size of their army's.

What would we do for Doctors and Priests?
We have an Indian (dot, not feather) priest that referred to our grandkids' first communion as their first "communism".
I had a heart doctor at Mayo Clinic, who was from India, and 23 yrs old. Said he went straight from high school to medical school. 23 yr old heart specialist! He told me "this is something you're just gonna have to live with". As it turned out, I was having brain seizures. He was waaayyyyyy off.
May have been a little Affirmative Action/foreign exchange/trading thing going on there. I saw very few white/Caucasian/American medical professionals at Mayo.

I think the US pushed the Indians to pressure and draw the Reds out. The international community will condemn the fire fight and isolate China further.

India and China have had off and on border wars since India became a free nation and East and West Pakistan were created and East Pakistan later became Bangladesh.

When I traveled in India in 2008 we did not go north of Delhi as the border issues had heightened again.

It's been a long time since a major skirmish, and people ain't getting any smarter.

As has been said this has been going on a long time and will continue for a long time to come. My grandparents (and dad) had to evacuate their home in Northeast India back in the early 60's when the Chinese invaded. After a few months things calmed down and they could go back. Neither side is ready to settle the issue so it will continue to be contested and they will continue to have flare ups.
