Is it going to get worse?

Are things going to continue to deteriorate in America until the point we are at war with one another? It's starting to look that way to me.

What needs to happen to stop it?

What can we do to get America healed and back on course?

Destroy liberal media would be the first order of business, second would be to get rid of facebook. I’ll bet things would clear up in a hurry.

We need a truckload of common sense and I don't see that being delivered any time soon. So yep its going to get more and more " interesting" i think.

1 Americans in the first subset are gracious people who know this country has been blessed with the tools of freedom and prosperity by our forefathers. These type of people all gave some and some gave all to maintain our way of life and pass it down to our children intact. These people think past their own nose even if there is a bunch of BS on TV. They value such things as individual freedom and critical thinking.

2 The 2nd set used to be unwilling to admit that they hate America until recently. They have been emboldened by the pandering politicians, the one sided news media who never ask hard questions of the left (such as do the facts bear our your position senator? Isn't the law you just sponsored unconstitutional? Why did you fly to Epstein's island anyway?) These people are now bold enough to think they are in a majority and that the world is behind them and they are so convinced or it they are actually giving us a glimpse into their true goals and even their very pronounced character flaws

Keith, in my humble opinion, we are witnessing a hail Mary push from the left that will continue to get worse up to the election. They don't want Trump in office because they know Ginsburg won't make it another 4 years. They have Roberts but he is the swing vote, without RBG, he is useless to them. Getting control of SCOTUS will allow them to take the 2nd and other rights away, freedom of speech is being torn apart even now.

If Trump wins, they're will be a brief calm and then the Freedom gobblers will start up again and keep coming hard. I hope I am wrong, I was once lol. My gut tells me that we'll not go back to normal, it'll be a new normal. Again, I hope I am wrong and pray for our Nation and our way of life.

A cultural revolution is well underway and those are grassroots from the bottom up.
Things are going to look a lot different in the next 5-15 years.
A totalitarian government can supress a cultural revolution for a short time but it is like trying to stop an inexorable tide.Or like trying to stop time.The new generations will take over as the old pass on.

Conservatives need to start pushing back but mostly we just say it doesn't concern me that much right now.

I still contend it is social media. In about 2002, after being encouraged by many to use social media for recruiting employees, I refused and told my IT guy "Social media will be the end of our society." I think I was right but for the life of me I have no clue what can be done about it now.

I do think things are going to deteriorate until we git to that point. The writing is on the wall and everyone with an open mind sees what is happening. As a selfish father, I certainly don't want this to happen for fear of my little girls future; however, I can also see it as a blessing that it may be happening while I am still alive and capable to help her, witness to her, and also be there for my aging loved ones.

In my opinion....This is what needs to happen to help get us back on course.

1. All believers in the US need to get on their knees and pray for God to help them turn from their wicked ways so that He can help heal our land. We need a revival in this country ASAP!

2. We must have term limits on our elected officials. No reason to stay in office for more than 12 years period.

3. We must either stop the war on drugs or either decriminalize drugs all together. Drugs are a multi-billion dollar industry and it is affecting the poor and middle class of all colors. The drug problem in America is so bad, corrupt, and I believe helped by the government. The amount of money spent on drugs monthly in this country shows that its not just the rich and junkies doing drugs; its most of the middle class as well.

4. We must bring back discipline in our school system

5. We must encourage the growth of families; and children being born into families with a female mother and male father.

6. We must stop subsidizing bad behavior.

7. I think it would be a good idea to bring back a form of punishment for broken laws that is swift and "nips it in the bud". The problems and rioting spreading across our country that we are witnessing right now is a direct result of poor leadership and not nipping a problem in the bud before it gets too late. Texas Ranger Captain McNelly form of justice comes to mind. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

8. Every single one of us, after we file our federal income taxes, take the amount owed to the .Gov and instead of giving that amount to the US Treasury, we should give the exact same amount to our favorite charites such as Samaritan's Purse, St. Judes, etc.

My wife and I also have children. 5 of them. And 11 grandchildren.
As they have questions and stress about all they can't control (we can't steer other people's hearts and you can't bluff most folk's pride down with your pride either), Donna and I make sure they are taught that there is a plan in action, a God who loves those who abide in Him, despises the wicked, and though we can't understand why He doesn't foot stomp evil, there is a plan in motion, and those on His side will be ok for eternity.

So we pray as a family.
Moms and dads teach little ones as best they can, they're not the center of the universe, because those who think they tend to be prideful and mean, maybe even shown on the evening news rather than saddened by it.
We only imagine what a people could be if they prayed rather than yelled and gossiped or stuck their chest out? But we as a nation are no longer a Christian nation. We are a pagan culture worshipping all forms of gods, entertainment, and leisure. Why care about Christian righteousness when I have enough self-righteousness to float a boat? Right?
Our founders where Godly men, who sought His counsel, (mostly deists who thought God had abandoned His Creation), but now our nation scoffs at Christians. The sects and the cult religions started in the 1800's mostly in our nation, by self-proclaimed prophets, have been very devastating, along with 300 years of humanistic, rational thinking.
So I guess we're think we're now are in charge and we pray to a political party.
Our founders were smarter than us.

Imagine that a guy steals a car, and is put on trial. The prosecutor is not allowed to call a single witness.

Imagine that someone who does not like a guy turns in a false report saying he has stolen a car and the authorities who also know the report is false choose to investigate anyway because they really don't like the guy either. Before they get to court it is common knowledge that the original report that started the investigation was false. It is also known that the prosecutors don't like the falsely accused guy and want to go to court anyway to disparage the guy in any way they can even if they can't get him for nonexistent car theft. When the action gets to court the judge listens to the assertions of the prosecution known to be gathered using false if not illegal means and then throw it out of court based on that understanding. I believe dismissing a case because of faulty prosecution is a common court practice in most countries including the US.

This seems more like the scenario that played out in court (Senate).

The trial was in the house, 43 witnesses and no one had any evidence of Russian anything. Yet the Dems would go on TV and say they had proof of wrong doing. Most of the Dems are blatant liars and they knew they were lying when they said it. They don't have an honest bone in their bodies.

I for one, consider any attempts to circumvent the American voter and remove a president from office based upon falsehoods and fabrications to be treason. I also consider the presses attempt to cover for child molesters and treasonous congressmen to be aiding a criminal if not also treasonous criminal enterprise.
