Rearranged my 10/22. I chase Feists around in the fall and wanted to make my 22 a little more accurate. Feddersen barrel and Hogue stock. Can’t wait until it cools off some.
I’ve had a 10/22 for a couple of years. Dang thing jams.....a lot. Doesn’t cleanly eject empty shells. I like the gun, my son bought it as a gift for me. Any suggestions?

Feddersen barrel, brownells receiver , magpul stock and the trigger was sent to Brimstone for a trigger job. I’ve had them do 4 10/22s for me and I’m very pleased with them all. Hunting with a dog sounds very fun.
Yote I am going to send my trigger group to Brimstone. I think I really only need the tier 3 job, it’s just for hunting. What’s your thoughts on the tier 3 vs. the 1 & 2?
Well all being said, I suppose my Ruger is due for an update! I bought it used over 30 years ago and have never even cleaned it. It still shoots dime groups at 40 so that's good enough for me. As of late, I will get a stovepipe every now and then and have noticed the powder build up is getting pretty bad in the action. I have a 6 month old brindle cur that I hope to get going this fall, been working with him in the yard with tails on a fishing pole.
I had the cheaper tier trigger job done on mine and I’m happy with them. Also have a couple of the bx triggers and they have done a fine job as well. Much much better than the stock trigger. Ruger should make that trigger standard on the 10/22.
