On my garage. I'm unsure what kind of bees. I've never seen a nest like this

Wasps !!

Took care of one in my parents shed late yesterday, it was about as big as a 40w filament appliance light bulb.
Sprayed it real good, then knocked it down with a long stick - surprisingly only one wasp was inside.

Went back inside about 45 min later, no signs of other wasps.... thank God !!

I had one like that, but the tube was maybe only two-thirds of the length of the one in the picture.

Their mayor probably has plans to build more nest around the super-structure (tube).

Just go out at night and hold your thumb over that tube, and cut the nest down. Have a pan of gas poured and stick the tube in the gas and leave it till morning. No more wasps! I suggest wearing some thick leather gloves on yer thumb though! ol

Same thing hanging on my soffit last week. Shot first asked questions later. Never did get a definitive answer from anyone around my town only saw one bee/wasp/hornet enter or leave
