Oregon governor - 06/30/20 02:15 AM

Makes wearing a mask in public places mandatory starting Wednesday . The beezo said something about enforcement ......bla bla bla

The liberal _ _ _ _ has no problem with thousand of protesters marching around Portland touching elbows .

The mask is now the answer to everything . It's the go to because they have no real answers for anything .

Sheeple need direction so the mask it is

She can .........up her......!!!!!!!!!!!!;

I haven't worn the liberal compliance mark yet and not gonna start !!!!!

Re: Oregon governor - 06/30/20 02:34 AM

Yea our Govenor Innie decreed masks last Friday. He is specifically targeting Eastern Washington as we ran his arse over to the coast when he started politicketing 20-25 years ago. He had to carpetbag to where he could get elected. Even though he still claims to come from E. Wa.
The three county's I live in are useing him right now over the way he has shut down our business and schools by declaring an emergency. We are trying to require him to justify his emergency.
He made a veiled threat last week, that if masks are not completed with restrictions could get worse.
I went into a big Ag outlet this weekend. Prolly 40% of customers wearing masks. My daughter went to grocery store, said very few people wearing masks. Took the Grandkids shooting today, stopped for icecream at gas station. No one wearing mask except employees.
Doesnt look like Innie is getting many of us to kowtow yet.

Unless you’re in Lincoln County. Then it’s only the white people.

The masks bother me. BUT. Government wanting us to "police" ourselves and "enforce" against ourselves, bothers me more. Let them use their authority for that and not expect the people rat each other out and businesses to enforce the edicts from on high for them. When a business has to enforce the executive order or be punished, that bothers me. When a average citizen gets an atta-boy for sending in a video tape of “law breakers”, that bothers me.

I’m not a "good little solider" as she calls her supporters. I’m not good at mindless compliance and they best not expect that to change any time soon.

The other day a guy here wore a wire mesh mask around while shopping not one word look complaint question etc... about it. The mesh was from a dirt bike helmet. I'd guess 1/8" squares. Facebook removed the video. I wanted to post a link but it was profanity filled.

Wearing masks has been proven to help stem infection rates. Would you like to see our state have Florida's numbers? Over 18,000 new cases in the last two days? There's plenty I disagree with our governor on.... but this ain't one of them. She's making the right move.

It's the same rhetoric as wearing motorcycle helmets. I assume you're against that, as well as wearing safety belts. I must be liberal then because I believe in both of those institutions because I don't want to pay for yours and others lifelong disabilities from being stupid and having to pay higher auto insurance rates.

Here in Washington. Last week I heard our Govenor Inslee say during a speech explaining his mask decree: "Mandatory masks until we have a vaccine". He showed his hand right there.
This morning I heard some local politicketer pleading with people to wear their masks to save local business.
" We don't have the biggest stick in this fight", so we need to comply.
So it seems here its switched from saving lives by wearing masks, to saving our neighbors business, and our regional economy and infrastructure.

Re: Oregon governor - 06/30/20 03:47 PM

(edit: originally replied to the incorrect post)

The studies I have seen show when both parties are wearing a mask, it is about 70% effective. From a medical device perspective, this ratio is terrible. That industry measures "misses" in terms of instances per million, so 300,000 times ineffective would never put a product on a shelf. That said, from a consumer perspective, the cost is very low to improve your chances 70%. Thus, since I have health-compromised family members and church attendees, I will continue to wear my mask.

All of that said, choosing to wear and being forced to wear are not the same thing, which I believe was the OP's point.

Just how many times has the CDC moved the goalposts on this virus and how to combat it? I don't believe anything they say anymore. The Chinese have such a good handle on this pandemic that they spread it world wide.

Believing the Chinese and the CDC? No wonder you’re alright with the new proclamation from our ruler. Ever read the box that the masks come in? I sometimes wish I new how to do the picture thing, like right now. The couple different kinds we’re now required to wear and are supplied with by the employer, paraphrasing, does not protect for covid or from covid. Even that sawed-off doctor guy didn’t start wearing masks until the last few days, if it was that important or effective where has his mask been until now?

If people want to wear a mask, great, I’m happy for them. If I don’t that should be my choice also. If the maskers don’t like it they can keep their distance from me to extra protect themselves. Also our Esteemed leader should have a plan to enforce this new rule, not have the public enforcing for her. When she says it’s not going to be enforced, why even bring this to the forefront other than to cause strife in the citizenry.

She’s a jug butted cull, and has been since she got her start as the Secretary of State. The buck stops with her, but nothing is ever her fault or her bad idea. This mask thing isn’t anything more than a PR stunt in their minds to help someone look better or have a warm fuzzy feeling, whoever that may be.

Re: Oregon governor - 07/01/20 05:53 AM

I believe it is all orchestrated by China with help from Iran and possibly Russia to wreck the American economy with the ultimate goal of replacing the petrodollar with the petroyuan.
These countries have stated that goal on many occasions,It burns them to no end that the US can dictate sanctions because of the agreement with the saudis to sell all oil on the international market with American dollars only(the petrodollar). The only reason the saudi's agreed to the petrodollar was because of the American promise to supply them with all the modern weapons available which they have done, including nukes. That is why the saudis(the real culprits) got a pass after 911 and the stooge saddam was sacrificed in the name of oil supremacy. Should the American economy collapse, and the USA cannot fulfil their arms agreement with the saudi's the chinese will step in.
Russia Iran and China are suffering greatly because of the petrodollar backed sanctions.
Covid, the racial unrest, and the political division/ russian meddling are all orchestrated from outside the USA.
This is the only way China can dominate as they would not be stupid enough to start an actual shooting war.
An internal collapse in America will be the perfect scenario for the Chinese.

There is one unforseen circumstance however. If the American economy collapses and political tides shift, who will have their hands on the nuclear arsenal???

When the russian economy collapsed back in the day, nukes and many other weapon systems went missing from some of the socialist republics no longer under control-some turned up on the black market and some are still unaccounted for.

Re: Oregon governor - 07/01/20 06:41 PM

Half the protesters didn't wear masks. With all the shouting they were doing and the close proximity, it's hard to believe the infected ones didn't infect many others mask or not.

Most of the protesters were younger people. Many eventually got into the bars and infected a lot of other people. Yet, some governors and the fake news media refuse to state the protesters had anything to do with the recent spike in cases. They pretty much give the protesters a free pass.

Not saying the spike was caused only by protesters. But, to minimize the effect the protests had on the increase in the number of cases is pretty ridiculous too.

I have brother who got laid off since March. He hopes he never gets called back to work. With unemployment comp and $600 a week, he's making more money than he did while working.

Saw on the news a couple days ago (FOX of course), 1.4 billion stimulus money was sent to deceased persons and the government can't figure out how to get it back. Based on this, I don't see how anyone could HONESTY FEEL mail in voting would be accurate either.

Gun shop yesterday. Big sign. "KATE BROWN CAN KISS OUR (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman). MASKS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED HERE.” I really like my gun shop. They asked for no pictures, with me, that’s not a worry at all.

During all this, our esteemed ruler Brown, also pulled back staffing and budget to the instant background check at OSP. Instant is now approximately 7 - 9 days, instead of a few minutes to an hour, I was number 4127 out of 4129. Another end run to get what she wants.

Next year rumor is statewide draw tags for all units for archery. Not the gun guys, just us stick flickers. Figure that one out.

Here in WA Inslee decreed today that the responsibility for customers wearing mask is on the business. Fines for the business if seen doing business with an unmasked person. I wore my rag into the store today. Didnt want to stress the good business people.
You Oregon folks will prolly get the same decree Monday.

That was implemented when her 7 county edict came down from on high. Selectively enforced, in true Oregon fashion. “We Oregonians are going to continue to lead the way.”

At least one Trooper has been suspended.
