NTA convention in Spencer next year?

I saw a guy said it will be in Spencer next year

It is suppose to be in Spencer, Iowa in 2021. Not sure if that will change with the Corona.

According to the NTA website, the news release cancelling this year's convention states that the 2021 convention will be in Spencer, Iowa.

This spring has been a time of uncertainty for our nation. People's health, their jobs, and their lives in general have had no sense of security.

Over the past two months, the Executive Council of the National Trappers Association (NTA) has watched, one by one, as trapping gatherings across the nation have either been cancelled or rescheduled. We have gathered as much information as possible and have considered our options. At all times, first and foremost, the safety and well-being of our patrons and members have been top priority.

On May 5th the Executive Council met via conference call. After considering the ever-changing requirements of the state of Michigan and the ongoing recommendations of the CDC on social distancing, the decision was unanimously made to not hold the 2020 National Convention in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

We are saddened not to have the opportunity to rendezvous this summer with our trapping brothers and sisters from across the country.

During this time, being adaptable and not losing sight of the greater vision is more important than ever. The NTA fully intends to continue moving forward with all trapping business across the nation. We will keep everyone updated as plans progress for Board Meetings and other NTA business.

The NTA needs the continued support and membership of every trapper in North America.

The 2021 National Convention will be held in Spencer, Iowa.
