& He Lived!!! (scroll by Coos) - 07/03/20 09:03 PM

On the way to town I was pretty worried this had been a loss of life accident but by the time I got headed back I stopped to visit with the vaqueros who were putting the fence back up. I was shocked when they said the guy lived and was going to be fine!

Alls I can say is he must still have a purpose here and fellas- if you lift your truck and put big tires on it be extra careful pulling trailers- you have altered all the physics & geometry engineered to keep you alive.
crazy

Shoot that’s still a runner! Jack to the cab and a flat bed, good to go! Glad he’s ok.

Re: & He Lived!!! (scroll by Coos) - 07/04/20 03:45 PM

A few weeks ago we had a local have that happen to him only he was lucky enough not to have a trailer behind him. It was explained to me that because of the larger tires and being jacked up, it changes the angle/geometry of the tie rods causing them to break under pressure. He had one go while taking a long corner rather fast and this put him into the ditch breaking the other one. Didn't roll it and walked away alright, but I'm sure he needed to replace the air freshener in the cab.

Re: & He Lived!!! (scroll by Coos) - 07/04/20 03:59 PM

Yall have a point. I drove thru that way again and it appears the guy came up on a T intersection with the pedal flat on the floor. It wasn't 90 degrees so he tried to go the direction that wasn't quite as hair pinned, ran into the ditch, over corrected coming back out and that is when the trailer shoved the back end towards the outside of the curve and rolled him over when he hit the ditch on the other side.

A lot of things could have prevented this one but maybe it got his attention and he will be a better driver in the future.

Ha! I'll get over it.

As for looking like a Yankee, I got to say, when I lived in Texas for a short while I was told by a few people, including a Mexican yelling across the Rio Grande, I looked like a tall Mexican. Everyone else thought I was a Quebecer..

Unless your statue will be erected by Democrats like every last one of the statues which those commie Democrats are tearing down now, your statue will be safe.
That is, unless they start tearing down statues of white people because they may have been homophobic. That will be next on their agenda I am certain.

So many good choices LOL.
Carl you are probably right but I done wrong and obviously tearing down a statue seems to be the new payback. I think it's stooped myself.
