Honestly, they look fine to me. I would consider that little bit of browning just normal wear and tear.

It happened to all my onions, all at once, over the last week. We had 3 inches of rain last week but the heat must have got to them.

I'll water them and go from there.

A couple years ago I had onions that looked nice but when cut into were rotting from inside out. Dixondale Farms advised me to use a fungicide several times during the growing season. They also said if you water do not water from overhead but to water from drip system or similar.

Looks like you need to break the tops over so all the growth will go to the onion itself.

I would pull them up. Tie the tops together making bunches of onions. Hang the bunches up off the ground someplace dry cool and dark. A basement is good. Can drive nails into the house floor joists to hang them from. They will keep a long time like that.

The tops just look like they are starting to die back and are about ready to pick. No onion lives for ever.
