So tired of everything liberal.... gas cans!!I

I’ve just about had it with liberalism...why cant a person buy a simple gas can.... that doesn’t take 3 hands to run... all that is needed is a spout and away to let air in to pour..... so simple!!

The manufacturer is trying to keep from getting sued to death. And I'm with you - I hate those things.

Get these. They work great, they are metal. I have been using them for about 3 years now with no problems. They are pricy but pay once and cry once.

I bought good five-gallon cans, threw away the garbage spouts, drilled holes and inserted air valves and screwed on new, regular, old-fashioned spouts. All the parts to convert a piece of crap, CARB-compliant can to a regular gas can are readily available.

Come on it’s good for the environment If you ignore how much you spill using those worthless spouts. I just take mine off to fill my mower they are worthless junk.

Drill a 7/16 hole in the top rear of the plastic can and pull in a tire valve stem with the core removed. Got 7 or 8 of them.

I've gone to the ones Stephen 49er has pictured. Around here its called a U Jug and bought at Rural King farm store.

They are designed to prevent fumes from escaping and ruining the planet. Every time I use one, I spill a pint on the ground because the stupid release mechanism is so hard to use. I can't believe somebody can't come up with a design that's easy to use.

Tractor Supply sells replacement "water" spouts that fit gas cans - right next to the gas cans. I bought the yellow plastic vents on Amazon that fit in a 1/2" drilled hole. All my gas cans are now easy to use.

Having it for two years, I am still trying to figure out my liberal dish washer.

Tractor supply had a bunch of "water" cans for sale a while ago. they work like the old gas cans.

I got one of those, but it is pink. The wife won it at some girly thing. IMO the problem beside the separate spout is a gas can needs a side handle, especially one that is that tall. It doesn't get used.

They had the single hole ones for a while, now they sell them with vents here.

They work great, just like the old ones.

Must be a US thing having no vents?

1/2 inch drill bit and pop in the vent plug , they sell replacement parts and gaskets also

since they also fit water cans you can buy them in any state

I use old bar oil jugs for mower, weed whacker and saw gas. Just label well.

I'm with Finster on those gas cans I've got a few of the old Jerry cans and spouts but I like the idea the new improved style.

Problem I see is every gas can maker uses a different thread on the cans, and the "new" replaceable spouts cost the same as a new can, on sale,.
