Met a federal trapper on a red wolf preserve in Eastern NC who trapped coyotes and wolves. He only used turds along the edge of dirt roads. Maybe he was lazy. Said a domestic turd was as good as any.

I'd probably make a cat set using an exposed #3 DLS modded up nicely at the bottom of the post set with something visual up- in this narrow set of items- Id be using a mesh bag of dried turds painted a loud color spinning up high and some castor smeared along the trap side of the post. A good drip of female urine collected while she was in heat works good at the bottom of the post and I'd save the bait for the day you let me take the trash out LOL

Meow Mix bait down the hole (ground up feral cat fixed with Dobbin's bait solution)
A drop of Carman's Canine Call on the underside of a small rock a foot in front of the hole.
#2 Montana bedded halfway between the rock and the hole
AW's coyote urine squirted on the back lip of the hole.
All made within 5 feet of a coyote turd that I didnt put there.
