I had rocky road ice cream after lunch today. I bought around 10 packages of ice cream a couple of weeks ago at Kroger.

Dairy sales are at almost record highs. The distribution issues of March and April are gone, milk has not been dumped for 3 months now and people have adjusted to not eating out nearly as much and thus with more home meals being eaten and prepared, more milk, ice cream and butter are being consumed. Milk prices have risen about $5-$6 per CWT over the last two months. With the hot summer ice cream has been a "hot" selling item.

I have 6 gallons of ice cream in the freezer.

Giving away gallons of it by the truckload up here.I too have a few gallons in the freezer.
