I have some of those welded on the end of 20" rebar stakes.
I don't think a yote can jack those stakes out of the ground.
I don't use many because I don't like to pull them back out of the ground
Getting old isn't fun. Lol

They're pretty hard steel. Would use up some drill bits drilling holes for the cable. But I think it would work. They sure wouldn't bend and they have more surface area than most earth anchors. I don't know if you'd ever get them back.

They might be a bit too hard and break on a rock

Found a brand new one just like that last year at the farm I hunt. No hay anywhere near that place so I'm guessing they use that same machine to cut left over corn stalks down close to the ground. Found it a few days after the farmer did it.

That's what all my disposable stakes are. Made a driver out of stainless round stock. You gotta pull up hard when you drive them in rocks cause they don't bend they occasionally break.

In Charles Dobbins trap fastening book, he mentioned that he used them as far back as the late 40s.
He also mentioned how hard they are to drill.

They make great earth anchors. Came up with the idea 20 years ago.
