The good pitchers are mowing down the batters. Looks like the pitchers early are benefiting more by being in top shape in July and the hitters are needing some time.
Watched the Brewers and we struck out a lot. Team looks very different this year. Hader won't be valuable if we are behind in most games come the 8th inning or so this year. I would like to see him start a few games if he has a good 3rd pitch and can throw 80-100 pitches.

As much as I enjoy watching the Brewers I thought the whole game was kind of blah. I also would like to see Hader increase his pitches. While he is almost always used as a closer I think he has more potential.

After seeing the BLM BS i didnt want to watch anymore. But i played all 4 years in college and love the stupid game. Even had a couple teammates play in the bigs, not aure if anyone thats a die hard Cubs fan remembers Justin Berg, relief pitcher. Its a bunch of dumb young kids that go with the current flow, and id the flow involves TV then its all about the libs and a bunch of feel good crap.

Final was 7-1, the Phils banged out 4 home runs and Wheeler pitched well.

Bullpen lost it for the Twins today.

Although this 60 game regular season stinks and baseball starting at the end of July really takes away from the anticipation of a true baseball season, the silver lining is that it will be fun to see teams play other neighboring and close state rivals that they normally wouldn't play as often. I'm looking forward to seeing the Twins play the Brewers, Cardinals, Reds, and Cubs for more than just a series or once every 5 years in interleague play.

Reviewed the highlights of the Brewers-Cubs game! Low lights more appropriately! Hauling out a year's worth of sheep barn manure was less painful then to have been listening or watching that for 9 innings.

Wonder who benefits the most from a short season starting at mid-season; younger more rookie type players or older more veteran players? Yes every 2nd place team is automatically in but it won't take more than one bad streak to be out either. It will be different watching stats where a .340 hitter has 70 hits, the ace starter has an 8-3 record, the RBI leader winds up with 57 rbis, the home run leader has 23 homers and the closer has 12 saves.

I'm a Cardinals fan and haven't got to see a dang game in almost 2 weeks. Who knows if they'll even get back on the field this year.

I'll be rooting for the Athletics and Padres in the interm. It's good to see a couple clubs who have had pretty poor success recently on the up and up.

Another great outing for the Cubs to sweep the series with the Indians. I hope the Brewers keep playing like they did tonight!

The Brewers paid so much to keep Yelich that they couldn't afford to keep the other power hitters like Moustakis, Grandal and others. Caine opted out for Covid. Now teams are pitching around Yelich and he has been swinging at a lot of bad pitches. Fielding is unexplainable and starting pitchers not developing. We are a mess.

The starting pitchers have been decent, when the relief pitchers come in it is like pouring gasoline on a fire.

Brewers eked out a game! Yelich gets a nice HR and Hader struggles but gets it done.
