Hello Trapperman - 07/25/20 10:16 PM

New guy here. Not a big computer guy but I have got a job now that is making me learn. Spent my whole life working outside and now here I am in an office. This site has been a huge help in not feeling too confined or too, well... tamed! Just saying thanks to all of you for the great topics and a feeling of being back home on the farm.

Turning 40 this year! Being a Yankee living in Tennessee I have had to get some thick skin. The folks here are great but my pals love to point out how I am still northern every time I slip while going up the side of a hill. The whole place is hills...

The South is great! As well as the people. Never had otter around me in Mich. Not on my line any how. So that has been an experience. No ice to deal with. It is all new as of last season. Beaver seem to leave less sign then I am used to so I am having to look a little harder.

Welcome, to T-man as well as Tennessee. I would also, if I may invite you to come to any meetings of the Tennessee Fur Harvesters Association. We are just about shut down now, because of the virus, but we will be up and going again as soon as we can. Lots of friendly people and plenty of good food. You will learn when folks in the South get together, we always have plenty of good food.
