Got that right about missing Mr Wilson of Tman the comet was when I thought of him , I know he would have been out there to get the perfect pic.
Those Goldfinch pictures are a "Head of the Hill" award for clarity and composition you need to watermark them grayfox54 He did a thread in how to do that a while back....did anyone save it.
I also miss Jonathan he was one of a kind the mold was broke after he was made ! I replaced the old bird feeder with a new one and put feed out for any and all bird's to enjoy because of Jonathan's memory.
Darn nice finch pictures I've always enjoyed seeing them they are the bird's of spring to my way of thinking as silly as that may sound ha ha Allan
I am certainly not a good photographer as was Jonathan. I need my windows cleaned but never seem to get to it done on the list. Wife use to do that pretty regular but now she isnt able too it doesnt fall high on the list of things to do. As they say it is the thought that counts.
Those other gold finch photos are excellent. I better take mine down.

Don’t take them down remember they’re in memory of Jonathan! I wish more people would add to it in his memory I don’t call myself a professional I’m just an amateur still learning
There is a story behind that last picture a Carolina Wren built a nest in my fishing vest hanging on the porch, I left the vest there and they raised two young ones in it!
