Wyoming/Idaho/Montana vacation (lots of pics) - 07/29/20 12:43 PM

Wifey and I, along with Murphy the adventure dog, are taking our yearly vacation without the kids, and all you T-man folks get to come along laugh. We started out in Cheyenne Wyoming, and if you've ever been there, you'll understand when I say there's literally nothing to see there. We did findone of the world's largest steam engine locomotives there in a park, old 4004. Absolutely enormous at over a million pounds, and pure mechanical artwork.

But.our next stop was pinedale Wyoming, and this place is mountain man history central. It's located along the green river where the rendezvous were held.

Our Airbnb for the night was a small cabin along Daniel creek, which joined the green about a mile from us. Beautiful place.

We also made a stop at the museum of the mountain man. Not very big, but still very neat.

Had a very cool drive through the Tetons and along the snake river yesterday up to pinigree Idaho, right outside of Pocatello Idaho.

There we partook of our vacation tradition and got new tattoos. (Just.me and the wife, not the dog).

From here, today we're headed down to outside of Bozeman montana for the main event of the trip. We'll have a short 4 mile hike to a fire tower on top of Garnett mountain, where we'll be staying 2 nights. Very cool place, we rented it through the forest service. Basically Airbnb through the federal government. Should be absolutely beautiful.

That looks and sounds like an awesome vacation! Some neat country down that way for sure! I like the tattoo. What's it mean?

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link?

The three links represent three generations of crazy in my family, the broken link is me ..... irreparably broken, but separated from the crazy. The link attached to the broken link is a new chain I'm starting....my children and all generations from now on will be a new chain.
