He was a great Conservative man. I only wish that people would see him for what he was as an organizer.

We're still praising Lewis on tv. Enough is enough. You can't bring him back, Thank God.

Yeah I doubt they're gonna be dragging Cain's casket around for a week either like they did with Lewis. The difference between the passing of the two ought to be amazing.

Herman Cain, the former Republican presidential candidate and business executive who was recently hospitalized with the coronavirus, has died. He was 74.

His death was announced on his website and social media accounts. Early this month, he said he had been hospitalized in the Atlanta area.
Mr. Cain, the former chief executive of Godfather’s Pizza, tested positive for the virus after he attended President Trump’s indoor rally in Tulsa, Okla., on June 20.
“We knew when he was first hospitalized with COVID-19 that this was going to be a rough fight,” Dan Calabrese, the editor of Mr. Cain’s website, said in the post announcing his death. “He had trouble breathing and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.”

“Although he was basically pretty healthy in recent years, he was still in a high-risk group because of his history with cancer,” Mr. Calabrese noted.
Mr. Cain ran as a Republican candidate in the 2012 presidential election, but dropped out of the race after he was accused of sexual misconduct, which he denied. His platform included a 9-9-9 tax plan: a flat 9 percent individual income tax rate, a 9 percent corporate tax rate and a 9 percent national sales tax.

Last year, Mr. Cain withdrew his name as one of Mr. Trump’s picks for the Federal Reserve Board, following the re-emergence of accusations of sexual harassment.

One of the most respected black men in our country. One of the most respected man in our country. I wonder if his body will lie in state at the capital.
Truly an outstanding American

I doubt it being as he was a Republican Conservative. The Democrats won't have pushing Lewis out of the picture.

Re: Herman Cain Passed Away - 07/30/20 04:03 PM

The centerpiece of Cain’s campaign was his 9-9-9 plan, which would have replaced the current tax code with a 9% tax on personal and corporate income and a 9% national sales tax. Cain said the plan’s simplicity would stimulate the economy by giving investors certainty.
“If 10% is good enough for God, 9% ought to be good enough for the federal government,"

Re: Herman Cain Passed Away - 07/30/20 04:13 PM

I really liked Herman Cain and was planning on voting for him for president, when the left sabotaged him. He was an entirely self made man, who rose from poverty to riches and greatness on his own merit. He epitomized the American Dream. As a self made black man who succeeded because of his own intellect and hard work, he was a great danger to the democrats myth that the system is rigged against blacks in the US and the democrats hated him for it. I enjoyed listening to him on the radio and reading his many articles and papers.

Mr. Cain will be missed.

First off, he had "PRE EXISTING CONDITIONS".
Second- he caught it at a TRUMP rally.
Keep wearing your mask. I still refuse to.

I heard this morning that Herman had been traveling by air doing a book tour prior to the Tulsa rally. The China made virus is out there everywhere. He knew the risk!

Seniortrap how many times are you going to mention the Tulsa rally?

Really?

There's one in every bunch.

And how do you know he caught this virus because he went maskless to a Trump rally?

He was a great man. Always enjoyed listening to him. I think one of the last major projects he worked on was “Uncle Tom” with Candace Owens. Haven’t watched it yet but I’ve heard it’s great. RIP Mr. Cain

Re: Herman Cain Passed Away - 07/30/20 06:23 PM

I just turned off Obama at the Lewis funeral. I must say that he is a great orator, but was the worst President in modern history. Color had nothing to do with it. Adolf Hitler was a great orator as well, but the most evil of men.
I honor Lewis for his civil rights activism, but his politics stunk.
There are a number of black men that would have made a good president, Herman Caine one of them. God rest his soul.

Two days after the rally Cain tested positive. What's the incubation period? How soon after exposure can you test positive? Does not add up.

100% certainty Cain did NOT catch China virus at the rally.

Herman was a great man and a great American. He didn't back down from a fight but was respectful. I enjoyed hearing him any chance I got to. He also had a great amount of walking around sense as my grandpa would say. He will be missed. I'm sure he got his wings and will be welcomed with open arms.
