I don’t have a clue what any of the letters represent. When I grew up they were either fags or dykes, and didn’t see an F or D in the letters mentioned.

Completely false. Homosexuality is neither an illness nor a deviant sexual behaviour. It's an orientation that a percentage of the human population is born with. It's not any more likely that a homosexual is going to be comfortable with and/or supportive of child molesters then heterosexuals. Not to mention that the progress in acceptance that the LGBTQ community has gained over the decades would be completely lost over night by all of society.

That's kind of my take. I think it is all pretty screwed up and a lot of what people are coming up with nowadays is mental illness...

But it doesn't mean I would treat those people any differently. Let them have their fantasy land. I know and interact with many gay and lesbian people. Do I think it's messed up? Yup. Does it change how I treat them? Nope.

Let's say we all join you and say some men were born attracted to men and we decide that is ok.

Then, the next man might say his is only attracted to kids... At that point we are DISCRIMINATING to say he cant. Youre a sharp guy- I am fine with you believing anything you want to but you need to be fine with the fact I will NEVER be joining you bud.

There's a vast difference between 2 consenting adults in the privacy of their bedroom and predators lusting over the most innocent of innocent.

They were born that way but that doesn't make it ok. It's a fact that the vast majority of pedophiles never act on their sexual attraction, be it shame, fear of consequences or simply a genuine disgust in their perversion and fear of victimizing. That's why child pornography is as prevalent as it is. Who's the individual most likely to get caught with a library of child porn? The middle aged man married with kids spending a lifetime trying to hide who they really are.

I don't believe that sexual orientation is genetic. It is learned trait and people make choices. Most humans fill the normal gender roles until society stops caring and applying norms and then we end up with what we have now, very small percentage units of the population trying to make their unit seem like the norm.

The media plays a huge role in making the exception the norm. In my work I deal closely with thousands of people every year and I only know a handful of homosexual couples but almost every time I saw a commercial on TV over the last few years it has homosexual couple depicted, that is why I got rid of TV.
