Fur Reports...who has them ?

Here in NH ...we have to fill out a fur report. What towns we trapped...how many nights the traps were set.....and what fur bearers we caught. Then that is sent to Fish &Game. Do all states do this ?? Iam thing so.......

For the CITES tag for otter and bobcat they ask trap nights till caught.

Idaho does

Only one I know here is if you buy a license for the Mississippi River Wildlife Refuge. You have to fill out your report or they will not allow you to buy the license the next year and can't trap the refuge.

Iowa has run a voluntary program for at least the last couple years. They send out a log book type booklet to a certain number of trappers, and ask you to fill it out through the season.

Indiana has done it before.

Here in NH....if you don’t fill out last seasons fur report ( wether you trapped or not) ...you can not renew your license.

Just for species that need to get tagged by Biologists here, from my experience. How long traps where out, County, Township, Range, Section for the otters I registered this spring, and whether or not you were also targeting beaver with your sets.

We get a survey in WI for waterfowl and trapping if you purchase a license for those activities.

Do you all have a $50 fine added onto next years license if you don’t turn it in like we do in Oregon?

Wyoming has a voluntary end of season report

Minnesota does

Pa. sends out surveys to random trappers. I’ve got 2 of them in 30 years. If you didn’t complete it, there’s no penalty.
